Municipality Wietze
The municipality Wietze is developing a new industrial estate covering an area of approx 180,000 sq.m. An expansion measuring 200,000 sq.m is in the making.
Being on the outskirts of the conurbation Hanover and the location of the industrial estate directly adjoining the national highway 214 a good infrastructure is available (9 km to the motorway A 7, exit Scharmstedt, 50 km to Hanover, 40 km to the airport Langenhagen).
Plots of land in the sizes between 1,000 sq.m and 20,000 sq.m can be acquired. The prices, depending on size and location, are Euro 9.00 to 12.00 /sq.m plus development costs. The latter amount to approx. Euro 10.00 sq.m.
Wietze is located in the economic development area of the state Lower Saxony, you can thus make use of subsidies which are made availabe for your settlement.
Wietze as a single municipality has some 8,400 inhabitants and forms the base centre with four districts. Apart from the 3 day care centres for children, primary education is offered in the primary school and in the secondary school sector. Plots of land for single-occupancy and semi-detached houses (price approx. Euro 62.00/sq.m) and sports and leisure time facilities are available.
