The Economic Region Celle has a very extensive range and area-wide offers in the field of education.

In the region, which consists of 12 member municipalities and approx. 182,000 inhabitants, there are:

• 73 kindergartens
• 41 primary schools
• 18 secondary schools
• 13 secondary modern schools
• 5 grammar schools
• 3 specialised grammar schools
• 3 grammar school outposts
• 4 vocational education centres
• 9 schools for the mentally or physically handicapped
• 1 district school of music
